This was a combination work/family trip. The location in Amherst NY (a suburb of Buffalo) is conveniently located near I-290. That being said, unless it is late in the evening, it is very difficult to make a left hand turn out of the hotel. The hotel itself appears to be well-maintained, and the employees were fairly helpful when asked. The room itself has a full-size refrigerator (Yay!), kitchen sink, microwave, and a 2-burner cook top (but no stove). It was lacking a couple of kitchen items that are usually found at this hotel. The indoor pool looked like it would have been nice, but was closed for repair. The included breakfast was your standard Hilton mid-range type, but it was a good way to start the day. I arrived on a Wednesday evening, just in time to catch the last 1/2 hour of the weekly Manager's Reception. There is plenty of parking available. The amount of room was sufficient, and the bed was comfortable. My room faced one of the off-ramps of the expressway, but I didn't find it noisy. If I need a place to stay in the area again, this would definitely be on my list.

Had 10/10 experience for a family of four with teens.. !! Staff just friendly right off and clean rooms and comfy beds and perfect pool:jacuzzi! Breakfast fresh and home cooked! Way to go on the hard work. These Canadians will return 👌🏻

We used to love this hotel but it's gone down to poor management. The front desk staff including the manager needs to be retrained how to have better customer service skills the customer service skills were horrible I was being treated as if I was a liar I was not treated like I was a Hilton honors customer I wasn't even sure like a human being me and my family were accused of things we didn't do it was horrible I was embarrassed and humiliated

I absolutely love this hotel. It was my favorite place for a friends’ staycation before Covid. We haven’t gone there since March 2020. When we returned this week it was still cozy, clean, with caring staff, who went the extra mile to make their guest feel at home. Thank you very much Amherst, New York Homewood Suites

The hotel was dirty and the mattress was horrible. We brought our concerns to the front desk and were told there was nothing the could do. Prior to checkout they attempted to charge us more than $450.00 more than originally quoted. The pool closed down on our second day with no notice and no compensation was made for the inconvenience.
